About.
Marshall Lee Smith Jr.
Marshall was born and raised in Sunny South Florida. He started his career as a musician at American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida, where he played in Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra & Pit Orchestra for theatrical productions. Marshall learned how to play Soprano, Alto & Tenor Sax, Piccolo & Flute, & Bassoon fluently. This is where he found his love for performing arts.
After attending college at Liberty University & Kennesaw State University, Marshall discovered Stage Management through a friend in the arts. He began reading books, studying the craft & contacting other stage managers in the Atlanta area. Eventually, he started stage managing for community theaters, semi-professional theaters & professional theaters.
Marshall loves learning new, innovative ways to stage manage and loves adding tools to his tool belt.
